Hertfordshire Mercury has reported how a Bishop's Stortford man lied on his CV to get a job in a recruitment agency, and then gained commission for placing fictitious workers in non- existent jobs.
Paul Southgate started work at THC Recruitment after lying about experience at other companies. He owned up to his dishonesty after THC failed to receive payments from the fictitious clients.
Meanwhile, the BBC has reported the case of agency nurse Emma Webster who stole drugs and falsified records during a three-year placement at Leeds General Infirmary. The hospital says temporary staff can no longer be in charge of a ward area.
