Secure CV service breaks down language barriers
Following a successful pilot, Woking-based Recruitment Express will become the first recruiter to integrate the InvisiViewMedia web-based secure CV service.
Branch manager Lee Donaldson told Recruiter that the product appealed to the agency because of the areas it works within, which include multi-lingual recruitment across sectors such as sales and marketing, market research and customer service. It also operates in the secretarial, industrial, purchasing and logistics sectors.
“In recruitment you are always looking at ways to make yourself and your candidates stand head and shoulders above the rest,” he said. “Having a more secure way of doing things and ensuring information doesn’t fall into the wrong hands can only enhance standing with the client.”
InvisiView provides a way of displaying confidential or sensitive data in a secure format and sending it via a web link for viewing. The content can be text, video, image or audio. The sender activates the viewing process via an invite code
which is sent to the recipient. Each code costs £2.50 plus VAT.
Donaldson said it was not just the security aspect that attracted the agency to the product; the ability to record a short interview and include it with the content is especially useful for its multi-lingual work. “Clients are looking for fluidity of language and this could cut down on having to do a telephone interview,” he said.
“The recession’s been tough and we’ve had to learn to work a lot smarter. Now things are settling down and picking up but recruitment can’t stand still and has got to move forward.”
Jan Gunner, director of InvisiView Media, told Recruiter that the service is also to be used by a medical agency which recruits overseas personnel to the UK.
