Huntress goes through management buyout

Search and selection company Huntress has attracted investment from Nomura Private Equity, for a management buyout.

It was an attractive investment prospect because of its track record for growth. Turnover has increased 40% a year for the past five years, and current annual revenue is £78m.

Andrew Healey, head of private equity said the company’s customer service had “translated to industry leading growth and profitability in the UK.”

Huntress was looking for investment to enable it to expand even more quickly. At the moment over 25% of its technology recruitment business is delivered outside the UK. Gary Laurence, chief executive said the investment would, “propel us onto a larger national and international footing.”
