ScotNursing adds 200 to its books through stake in Edinburgh-based firm
ScotNursing has added 200 nurses to its books after acquiring a 50% stake in Edinburgh-based Robinson Medical Recruitment (RMR) in a seven-figure deal.
RMR supplies highly trained nurses to work in operating theatres and specialist units.
Scot Nursing founder Ann Rushforth says: “This was an opportunity to expand into an area where, although we’ve always provided theatre nurses, we haven’t had high volumes.”
She adds: “We have worked with ScotNursing in the past and built a good relationship with them, so it made sense for the two businesses to come together.”
The companies are likely to benefit from a combined IT system.
