Recruiter, training company and consultancy, RTC Group, says it expects to report a loss for the first half of 2009  as a result of “a very difficult trading environment”.

However, in a trading statement the company says: “There are some signs that trading for the second half may improve and this, coupled with the benefits of reduced costs, should result in an improved financial performance.

“While trading has been difficult, cash collection in the first half has been strong and the balance sheet remains sound.

“The board has now completed the restructuring of the business and its management team and remains confident in the future prospects of the group.”
