Independent recruitment company, right4staff, was contracted to supply more than 30 marshalls to help the Pope’s visit to Birmingham run smoothly last weekend.

The positions were primarily ’customer service’ roles with responsibility for manning road blocks and giving out advice to members of the public on alternate routes and car parking.

The temporary staff had to have experience in good customer service and working with general public, well presented and able to stick to the dress code of black trousers, white tops and high visibility vests.
