International recruiter CDI Corp has seen revenues rise 20% in Q2 on the same period last year, according to its results for the for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011

The group posted revenue of $262.7m, representing growth of 20% compared to the previous year’s second quarter and sequential quarterly growth of 2.4%.

CDI president and chief executive, Paulett Eberhart, says: “CDI continues to perform well in a still fluid economic environment and our second quarter and first half 2011 revenue performance reflects the underlying strength of our core business.

“Although my optimism is still somewhat tempered by continuing softness in government-related sectors, I am pleased that our businesses are starting to generate increased momentum.”
