IT staffing company ReThink Recruitment, part of The ReThink Group, is expanding into HR and finance recruitment as part of its strategy to target growth in high-margin professional staffing markets.
 
The two new divisions, which will sit under the ReThink Recruitment umbrella, will be called ReThink HR and ReThink Finance.
 
ReThink HR and ReThink Finance will specialise in sourcing both contract and permanent personnel, from trainee up to director level, across all regions of the UK.
 
According to ReThink Recruitment, HR staffing is seen as a rational choice for expansion because it will build on the work advising HR departments on implementing performance management and remuneration programmes by AIIMI, a ReThink Group company. ReThink HR will be able to leverage these already strong relationships with HR directors.
 
ReThink Recruitment says that the accountancy market, which ReThink Finance will operate in, is one of the better insulated professional staffing markets against an economic slowdown.
 
Michael Bennett, director at ReThink Recruitment, said: “Expansion into the HR and accountancy markets will give us more opportunities to leverage our back office systems and our management expertise in other professional staffing markets, thereby increasing the diversity of our revenue streams.”
