Reed Education Professionals – part of the Reed recruitment and training group – has been selected as one of seven recruitment agencies to gain preferred supplier status to provide teachers to local education authorities in London.

The contract win follows a tendering process run by the Government Office for London on behalf of the Association of Chief Education Officers in London.

The first phase of the contract will cover five school terms beginning this month.

Commenting on the recent contract win, Tom Lovell, who heads Reed Education Professionals, said: “We are delighted to have been selected as part of this important new initiative which supports London schools in their drive to recruit teachers.”

Reed Education Professionals already runs teacher supply partnerships with Lancashire and Cheshire County Councils.
