Cooper Lomaz reveals record-breaking month

East Anglian recruitment consultancy Cooper Lomaz has treated 37 of its staff to a weekend in Rome after a record-breaking month.

The trip, which cost around £30,000, followed Cooper Lomaz’s best ever monthly figures, which saw them smash through a £300,000 fee revenue target.

In the period 2,500 CVs were sent out, which was double the normal level, according to joint managing director Jane Lovell.

Staff handled 700 phone interviews, well above the average 550, which resulted in 300 face-to-face meetings, and a high success rate of 220 people placed in positions right across the economy from insurance and publishing to manufacturing and food production.
Lovell says: “Our team is really motivated and have been sharing information and ideas within and between offices. The result was a best-ever £350,000 monthly tally, well ahead of the previous record of £278,000.”

Cooper Lomaz is aiming to maintain the momentum of the motivational reward by setting an even higher target of £400,000 – and the prospect of an even more exotic location if the staff succeed.
