Recruitment resignation

Imprint founder Hamill leaves

Imprint has announced that its founder Brian Hamill (pictured left) has resigned as a director and as chief executive of the company with immediate effect.

It says that Robert Thesiger (pictured right), chief operating officer (Europe) and chief executive of the group's Morgan McKinley business, has been appointed as chief executive with immediate effect.

Hamill has made an indicative offer to acquire the London and Windsor-based Wood Hamill and Imprint Search and Selection branded businesses of the group.

The group also reported that its results for September were materially below the Board's expectations. However, the Board believes that the group is on a sound financial footing and that its prospects remain strong.
