The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) have commissioned research to identify good practice that will help employers and recruitment agencies to work together more effectively.

The research will result in two new guides and web-based toolkits that will help employers appoint and evaluate their recruitment partners in a more informed and consistent way.

Roger Tweedy (pictured), the REC’s director of research, says: “This is an exciting opportunity for agencies to communicate more effectively and strategically with their clients. It could herald a new era in the way agencies and employers work together."
