HR recruitment agency Digby Morgan has reported a fall in pre-tax profit to £437,449 for the year ended 31 December 2006, compared to £1.1m in 2005.

The company made a gross profit of £3.1m in the year, compared to £2.3m in 2005. Operating profit was £408, 098 in 2006, compared to £374,637 in 2005.

The company told Recruiter: “The  fall in Digby Morgan pre-tax profit in 2006 is due to no dividend income being received from its subsidiary company HR Interims . In 2005 dividends of £750,000 were received by Digby Morgan. During 2006 Vedior acquired 80% of the shares of Digby Morgan and no dividends were declared.”
