Three employees of Jobcentre Plus have been named in this years Queen’s Birthday Honours list alongside Ryan Giggs, Ian Botham and Salman Rushdie.

Walter Steel, external relations manager, was awarded the OBE. District manager Tina Ellis and operations manager Jean Harborne were awarded the MBE.

James Hillage, director of research at the Institute for Employment Studies, also received an MBE.
