Livingstone-based Escape Recruitment has announced plans to open its second office in Glasgow in February.

The company, which was launched seven years ago, told The Scotsman that it is also looking at potential acquisitions.

Anne-Marie Hamill, co-founder and director of Escape, said: “We already have a team of eight people working as a ‘virtual’ Glasgow office in preparation for the move in February. By doing so, we hope to make the transition as painless and hassle-free as possible.

“We, of all people, recognise how important hiring the right people is for a business, which is why we’ve recently taken on someone whose principal role is to recruit for us internally. It’s crucial to our growth plan that we are effective in doing our own recruitment. The way we are growing our business means that the people we employ are central to the future success of the company.”

Escape offers specialist recruitment services and consultancy across HR, accountancy and finance, IT, manufacturing, and life sciences.
