Liverpool ONE, the £1bn regeneration project transforming Liverpool city centre, is to carry out a huge week-long recruitment drive starting today.

The company is holding outreach events in partnership with Shop For Jobs that will be taking place at various locations throughout Liverpool. Liverpool ONE is rolling out a programme to guarantee interviews for unemployed people in Merseyside.

Joanna Jennings, chief executive of Liverpool ONE, says: "The outreach events next week are a vital stage in our recruitment process. We’re really looking forward to meeting the people soon to be our Liverpool ONE team. We are looking for people who bring the skills that are important to us and who have pride in their city. We want to meet people who are passionate about customer service and who want to work together as one team."

At each event there will be brief introductions from Shop For Jobs and Liverpool ONE that will highlight the various roles available and the training opportunities that will be provided.
