Recruiters sacked
10 September 2012
Nine staff told to go home at Chatham recruitment agency
Staff at recruitment firm Instant Muscle Ltd in Chatham turned up to work only to be told to go home because they had lost their jobs.
The nine employees were given no notice and haven't been paid for February.
They realised something was wrong when their wages weren't paid into their accounts on 27 February.
Head office told staff to stay at work and that all would be revealed later that day.
London administrators Smith and Williamson then sent a team to inform staff the company had gone into administration before handing out envelopes containing official redundancy notices.
