A dedicated broadcasting company has been launched for the recruitment industry. Recruit Broadcast Media (RBM) offers recruiters a range of digital broadcasting services to promote jobs, including video, audio, radio, internet TV, digital signage and mobile TV.
Also in development is an online video and audio content exchange at www.TheRecruiterChannel.tv, which will allow recruiters and employers to create their own internet TV career channels for jobseekers to watch footage about specific clients or sectors.
The company, whose management team combines nearly 20 years' experience in the recruitment sector with 15 years in TV, radio and digital broadcasting, will offer both creative and technical services.
Managing director Francis Bowe told Recruiter that as recruiting evolves into a multi-channel experience, rich media content will be created and distributed as a differentiator in the battle to attract top talent.
"Video recall is 85% greater than written text so why wouldn't employers decide to start producing highly engaging, easy-to-distribute video and audio content about the benefits of working with their firm?" he asked.
"In doing so, employers can empower their preferred recruitment supplier to be on-brand and on-message 100% of the time, increasing conversion ratios. The jobseeker also gets an enormous amount of information and insight on which to base their career decision, removing much confusion or wasted time from the process."
RecruiterChannel.tv will host and stream all forms of digital media to a client's website on demand which will mean that recruiters won't have to worry about storing or streaming large media files to jobseekers. Content can be deployed on behalf of the recruiter to a player which will be embedded into their website.
Bowe said that prices will start from around £30 per month for recruiters to stream 500 minutes of video, going up to 10,000 plus minutes of video per month.
