Recruiter’s latest networking evening was a roaring success, as more than 70 recruiters swapped ideas.

The event, which was held at the Malmaison hotel in Manchester, was supported by JPA Recruitment and Recruitment Software Solutions (RSS).

The event gave recruiters from the North-West the chance to discuss the industry trends in the area, as well as the chance to form valuable new contacts.

“The benefits for me were two-fold,” says Stewart Davies, commercial director of RSS. “It gave me the chance to see some important people from the industry and also the opportunity to make some good business contacts.”

Emma Robertson, manager at JPA, also felt the event was a plus: “The Recruiter evening held in Manchester was a huge success. True to form the event was well organised by Recruiter magazine and enjoyed by all.  In an industry where the majority of business is conducted over the phone, we at JPA feel that it is always a benefit to meet our clients and fellow recruiters in person, both in a work and social capacity.”

Julie McMenamin, account manager for Aspire Employment and Regeneration Partnership, adds: “It gave us all a good chance to familiarise ourselves with each other. You don’t often get the opportunity to go to something like that and I really enjoyed myself.”
