Recruiting through business media brands is more likely to land a higher quality of job candidate than through methods such as job boards and social media, according to the PPA Recruitment Advertising Survey.

The research found that of those who advertised through business media brands, 60% rated candidates as either ‘good’ or ‘excellent’, compared with 46% for job and 44% for social media.

Jerry Gosney, director of the PPA’s Business Media Group, says: “It’s good to hear straight from recruiters how highly they value B2B brands for efficiently and cost-effectively delivering quality candidates both in print and online.”

The survey was conducted by Zzing Marketing and questioned 375 direct advertising clients.
