Record results
Eden Brown announced record year-end results with a profit of £4.1m, which is a 100% growth on last year.
The recruiter said the figures are a result of its acquisition by HB Human Capital (HBHC) in June 2007. Plus HBHC is now forecasting a further 86% growth and staggering profits of £7.8m by March 2009.
Led by MD Tristan Ramus, HBHC said the success was due to its strong national presence, its excellent financial controls, high staff retention and its ethical presence within the industry.
The development of the Eden Brown Academy, the in-house recruitment and training programme for new recruits, has been a further contributing factor to the growth of the business. The acquisition has also led to an increase in profile for EB which has had the benefit of attracting more experienced staff from within the recruitment industry.
Ramus added: “We have a robust infrastructure to tackle the markets next year with 7 new teams on board. There is still plenty of growth within the UK and we are looking to tap in to new areas that we have so far not touched.”
It has been a very fruitful year for HBHC, set up as a platform to buy and build one of the UK largest recruitment businesses in the technical and public sector markets, HBHC has recently acquired Resourcing Group. The deal is the second completed by HBHC within the first 12 months of its inception.
