Financial recruiter Robert Walters reported record first-half results, driven by strong growth in Asia Pacific.

Profit before tax for the six months to June was £8.1m, up from £4.9m a year earlier. Robert Walters, chief executive, said: “All of our regions have produced excellent performances.”

The shares gained in early trade.
