REC releases annual results

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has released its annual results.

Turnover for the year ending 31 December 2007 was £6.1m, up from £5.7m , inclusive of subscriptions.

The REC made a surplus before tax of £174,056 for 2007, compared to a deficit of £201,644 in 2006.

Staffing levels went up from 73 in 76 employees and wages and salaries rose from £2.5m to £2.6m in 2007.
