Poolia’s UK office, Poolia Parker Bridge, has changed its name to Poolia UK to fully reflect its status as part of the European professional staffing group.

Managing director Lynda Pickess (pictured) says: “We have been known under the dual brand ‘Poolia Parker Bridge’ for the past 18 months and have decided that this is the right time for us to fully reflect the ownership of our business in the name of the company. 

“This is an exciting time for our business; we are planning further expansion in the UK as well as researching potential new markets so it makes sense for this to happen under the Poolia brand.”

Chief executive Sweden’s Erik Strand adds: “The present name change underlines that the United Kingdom is a growing and important market for Poolia, and that Poolia UK intends to advance its position as a supplier of competent professionals to our clients.”

Poolia has also announced it is to open offices in Glasgow and Bristol.
