The Royal Bank of Scotland Group has launched a new careers website implementing‘matchmaking’ technology similar to that used by leading dating and retail sites, to intelligently suggest cross brand opportunities to candidates less sure of what role they are best suited to.
The site, www.jobs.rbs.com, helps candidates search, find and make comparisons, while experienced candidates can find exact roles of interest. The site captures data from all quality candidate enquiries and allows in-house recruiters to search through the database for candidates to match to current vacancies.
The site, designed and produced by digital agency Publicis Modem, focuses on RBS’s new employer brand proposition, ‘Where Can We Take You’. It showcases real employees talking about their role and brings together the recruitment of over 30 of its brands including RBS, Coutts and NatWest.
Susan Bor, director, group resourcing, says: “As the sector begins to strengthen and looks to the future, it is vital that we do all we can to attract and guide new talent into the industry.
“The launch of the new portal is an important element of our digital recruitment strategy designed to reduce reliance on third-party recruitment agency services, which will improve service and vastly reduce cost.”
