Product launch: Strike-jobs integrates disability and non-disabled candidates
Multi-sector recruiter Tobias Recruitment has launched Strike-jobs.co.uk, a job board that Tobias founder Suzie Tobias describes as a “generalist job board integrating disabled and non-disabled workers”.
Tobias says: “Integration is the key point. Sites are either for generalist use, or specific to disability normally with links to government sponsored arenas.”
She also says she is working alongside a number of partners including the Association of Disabled Professionals, learning disability charity Norwood Ravenswood, the Royal National Institute of Blind People and the Institute of Recruiters.
The board launched in mid-July, “but because of the Olympics and being holiday time, and the fact that everyone left the West End, as we were told to by Boris [Johnson, the Mayor of London] – it came and went without too much fuss”, and so is now starting to increase candidate and employer use and awareness, Tobias says.
Strike-jobs will also be integrating video CV functionality imminently.

- I think that a website like this has been long over due. To integrate a website for both disabled and non disabled people is a breathe of fresh air in our society.
