Poolia has taken on a senior manger as it seeks to diversify into new areas.

Greg Fairweather, joins from Jonathan Wren, and will manage Poolia’s new procurement division. 

Gavin Warner, Poolia’s operations director, says the company is diversifying into procurement because of its development as a highly regarded discipline within business. It also ties in well with Poolia focus on senior and professional roles.

The company is also looking to take on experienced recruiters in all areas to “upskill the present team”, Warner told Recruiter.

Andrew Bath joins Poolia from Badenoch & Clark as general manger of banking.

Shaun Greenfield managing director, told Recruiter that the recruitment drive was both to help meet existing demand, and to make sure the company has the skilled staff it needs when the upturn arrives.

“The company is in a strong financial position to get these guys on board,” he adds.
