A Birmingham-based company is celebrating after gaining recognition as an Investor in Excellence.

Pertemps People Development Group (PPDG), an organisation which helps disadvantaged people into work, achieved the award after demonstrating its continued commitment to quality and the provision of excellent service to customers.

The Investor in Excellence award is a pioneering programme designed by Midlands Excellence to help all types of organisations to improve their all-round performance.

Running throughout the UK, the programme is based on a standard of all-round excellence and covers key areas including leadership, processes, people and customer results. On each area there is a set of indicators and for each indicator PPDG provided evidence of achievement.
