Rebecca Firth has been appointed to the board of Sellick Partnership as head of its new education division. Firth joins from ITN Mark Education, the education division of Ochre House.

RebeccaFirth has been appointed to the board of Sellick Partnership as head of its new education division. Firth joins from ITN Mark Education, the education division of Ochre House.

Rebecca said: “I have always thought very highly of Sellick Partnership, so when I discovered they were interested in setting up an education division, I knew immediately that it was something I wanted to be involved with.

“I am looking forward to developing the education division and working alongside the existing Newcastle team to raise the profile of Sellick Partnership in the North East.”

Earlier in her career, Firth was on the finance team at Sellick Partnership before beginning her work in education recruitment, during which time she worked in a number of agencies

James Milne moves from the technical and engineering division to join Source’s executive search division as principal consultant. Sarah Alsop has been promoted from manager for the professional services sectors to head of operations in Aberdeen.

Newcastle-upon-Tynerecruiter Newdrive has taken on George Foster as senior transport logistics consultant.


Scotland-based independent recruiter Change Recruitment Group has promoted Neil Campbell to divisional director of its financial services division.


SJC Recruitment has taken on Grace Parker, Lucy Tippins and Barbara Field as consultants in its specialist accountancy division.


Architectural and engineering recruiter Convex Solutions has appointed Andrew Cussen to develop the architectural desk across the Midlands. Jessica Morley has been promoted to office manager.

Recruiter and RPO (recruitment processing outsourcer) Makeebo Associates has appointed Hattie Donaghue as key accounts manager and Dan Ball as recruitment consultant.

City-based, IT contingency recruiter Contract Connections has appointed Jon White as division manager of CCL Recruit, its permanent division for professional services. AlexPlaistowe joins as lead consultant, with Serena Hodgson joining as a researcher. Louis Lafferty has been confirmed on the board as sales director. Larissa Foster has been promoted to head of resourcing within the contracts division, while Janaya Taylor and Ellie Robbinsjoin the research team. Tiffany Blaine been appointed as group administrator.

Technical, engineering, rail and IT recruiter NES has appointed Phil Bygrave, Jason Barry and Oliver Hatch as consultants to work in the built environment division at its Manchester headquarters.

Phil Amos(left) has joined the allied health section at medical recruiter Medicare First. Gary Groves and Lawrence Silvester have joined Medicare First’s social care division as senior consultants.

Tammy Smith joins Bolton-based finance recruiter AFR Consulting to head up its new division for junior finance staff (see Opening Times column).

Aloui Tashkandy joins the Warrington branch as operations Manager, Jo Davison and Paul Birchall join as business development managers, while Rachelle Luxford has been appointed international development manager. Melissa Kumar joins as senior consultant, while Tai Burgess, Mitali Deypurtaystha and Chinique Jonker have been taken on as consultants.

Caroline McKenna has joined Northern Ireland-based recruiter Bond Search & Selection as consultant in its office support and HR divison. Laurence Burns has been appointed to head up the sales and marketing division.

Industrial, driving and office sector recruiter Aligra Personnel has appointed Steve Thorne as branch operations manager at its Abingdon office.


Specialist IT recruitment firm VMR Consultants has appointed Richard Lincoln to its Southend-based operation.
