Pay as you go to find the best graduates

The student and graduate careers site Gradplus.com has launched a new free advertising and pay-as-you-go-service which means recruiters only pay for relevant applications that come via the site.

They can post an advert for free and then view relevant details in each applicant’s profile before deciding whether to buy the CV and contact details. Naomi Blackbourn, account manager at Gradplus.com, told Recruiter that for some the traditional online recruitment cost model doesn’t necessarily deliver the required result and the aim is to make Gradplus.com a cost-effective form of advertising for all businesses.

“We wanted to make it easier for recruiters to manage their advertising budgets and ultimately, for us, this meant taking the pay-per-click model one step further and allowing recruiters to pay on result,” she said. “It means that recruiters have full control over their budgets, and, of course, that we have to make sure that we deliver the quality candidates to make it commercially viable.” www.gradplus.com
