Partnership aims to achieve optimum effect

Optimal Internet, which builds and manages recruitment websites for recruiters, is partnering with UK jobs search engine Workcircle to drive more traffic to its clients' sites.
Bruce Stander, managing director of Optimal, told Recruiter that it is the first of many more partnerships to enhance its service to clients.
"Workcircle has made big steps into the marketplace and one of the most efficient ways of buying in traffic is to partner with established networks," said Stander, who also identifies niche online communities as a target for future partnerships between companies in the online recruitment sector. "Many job boards out there seem to be taking a more niche approach to market, which is indicative of the changes being seen in online advertising to provide high-quality results."
Optimal's client sites are now closely integrated with Workcircle and their job listings are automatically updated on the search engine's database. A piece of code developed by Optimal and embedded on its client sites sends the updated information via an RSS (really simple syndication) feed to Workcircle. Jobseekers can also be tracked.
"We give clients all of the tools they need to make the most of syndicated coverage of their jobs and strong search engine positioning of their sites," explained Stander, who previously worked for Jobsite before setting up Optimal.
