The launch of games publisher Outplay Entertainment is to create 150 new gaming jobs in Dundee over the next year.

The business has been founded by games industry veterans, brothers Douglas and Richard Hare, who have worked at video games firms The Collective and Foundation 9 Entertainment.

An Outplay Entertainment spokesperson told Recruiterthe firm is looking to fill technical development-based roles, as well as artists and producers.

The spokesperson adds that the new start-up was directly recruiting and working with recruitment agency Special Move in Glasgow, but would also benefit from a huge pool of talent coming from the University of Abertay in Dundee, which is a leader in gaming courses.
