OTYS launches CV connection to LinkedIn

Dutch recruitment software supplier OTYS Recruiting Technology has developed a CV connection with LinkedIn to enable jobseekers to apply online with their LinkedIn profile.

Dutch recruitment software supplier OTYS Recruiting Technology has developed a CV connection with LinkedIn to enable jobseekers to apply online with their LinkedIn profile.

According to the company, it is easier for candidates to fill in job application forms and register with an agency.

The extraction technology of OTYS’s partner, Textkernel, already enabled candidates to use their .doc and .pdf CVs to fill in online data fields quickly and automatically. With this latest system, a LinkedIn profile can be used alongside the standard CV.

Jorrit Blok, chief executive and founder of OTYS, says: “The profiles of people on LinkedIn contain everything that is necessary to function as a real CV: data, work experience, training/education and, of course, the references. So why shouldn’t we use this as a job application resource?”

From today, OTYS’s client, Interoute Communications, is using the LinkedIn connection on its website www.interoutejobs.com.
