OPD results

Good year for OPD

International recruitment firm OPD Group has announced positive results for the period from 1 January 2008 to 14 May 2008.

Net fee income stood at £31m, up 10% on the same period last year.

OPD Group’s offer for multifunctional recruitment firm Imprint lapsed and board members voted to accept Irish multi-sector recruitment group Premier Group’s offer to purchase the company. The deal is believed to be in its final stages. OPD will receive £2.3m in cash for its holding.

OPD Group had said it had received valid acceptances for 2.58% of Imprint's issued share capital. On 9 April, OPD had extended its offer for Imprint to 29 April after receiving additional acceptances.
