Recruitment services provider OPD Group is considering selling parts of its business, according to an interim management statement ?for the third quarter of 2009.

The statement reveals that net fee income for the period was £16.7m, 27% down on the same period last year.

The statement adds: “Trading conditions remain challenging in the majority of the markets in which the group operates.

“In the half year report the board commented that it was considering either raising additional funds through a rights issue or through ?disposal of part of the equity in its operating subsidiaries to their management. Discussions with the management of the operating ?subsidiaries regarding the sale of part of these businesses are ongoing.”
