Office support recruiter seeks to double headcount_2

“Quality-driven” service aim

An office support recruiter is looking to double its headcount over the next five years as it expands into new sectors.

Maine-Tucker Recruitment, based in London, launched its financial division a month ago and its managing director confirmed it plans to move into the marketing and HR sectors over the next few years.

Managing director Meeta Sahni told Recruiter that the move into finance was made because other firms weren’t delivering a “quality-driven” service.

“For us to go forward and thrive in a market we’ve had to adapt,” said Sahni. “We’ve currently got 25 staff but I’d like to double that over the next five years.”

Maine-Tucker was established 20 years ago and moved from sourcing executive-level PAs to office support staff across the board.

The company has recently undergone restructuring, taking on eight new consultants and re-organising its management team, in order to manage its expansion.

The company turned over £3.5m last year.
