Online job availability in Northern Ireland reached a record high in September, according to new figures.

The Monster Employment Index UK for September shows that online hiring in the region increased by 25 index points, while year-on-year growth was 34 points, or 23%, the highest growth of all UK regions.

Overall in September, the UK Index decreased by eight points, a fourth consecutive decrease and the first time that the Index has shown a year-on-year decline. The Index now stands at its lowest level since April 2007.
