TheLadders.co.uk finds money is more important to Northerners
People in the North are more likely to change jobs for financials reasons, than workers in the South, according to research by TheLadders.co.uk.
The poll revealed that only 39% of Londoners change jobs because of money, compared to 58% in the North.
It found that only 7% of Londoners said stress had caused them to switch jobs, while 33% of Northerners said stress had forced them to re-evaluate their position.
The study found that Londoners encounter less tension in the workplace, as only 14% said they had left due to conflict with colleagues, while 32% of Northerners said it had caused them to leave.
