Nestlé adds 300 jobs
13 September 2012
Nestlé UK & Ireland today announced an investment of £110m in its Tutbury, Derbyshire site, which will add 300 jobs to its Dolce Gusto coffee brand.
The factory already employs 500 workers, a rise from 160 in 2006, and under the new expansion the firm’s academy, supporting apprentices, interns and graduates, will double in size.
Prime Minister David Cameron says: “The jobs created by this new investment will benefit both skilled workers and those leaving school who will be able to train in the workplace to become the skilled workers of the future.”
