Recruitment firm sees growing trend for multi-lingual staff in customer services and call centres
There is a growing demand for multi-lingual staff within the customer services and contact centre sectors in
Steve Shacklock, managing director, says: “We are seeing a huge demand for linguists with fluent English as well as mother tongue level German, French, Dutch, Scandinavian languages, Italian, and to some extend Spanish.
“There is also a trend for employers to look for multi-lingual rather than just bi-lingual staff driven by the need to review costs and efficiency levels,” he adds.
