IT recruiter MSB has bought the IT contracting business of Leading Edge Recruitment for £500,000.

MSB will pay £225,000 up front for Kent-based Leading Edge, followed by a maximum fee of £275,000.

Andrew Zielinski, MSB’s chief executive, said the purchase will add significant clients to the company’s existing IT staffing business.

He said: “This acquisition demonstrates our commitment to developing and growing our core IT recruitment business.”

Shares in MSB slipped by half a point in trading following the announcement to 83.5p each.

MSB is based in Bromley, Kent, and has offices in London, Manchester, Windsor, Glasgow, Dublin and Frankfurt.
