Australia and China have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at protecting Australian employers from being over-charged by Chinese recruitment agencies keen to meet Australia's need for skilled employees. Under the new guidelines, Chinese recruitment agencies must apply to list their names on both the Australia Immigration Department and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce Department's websites.
