Most Chinese managers and professionals would prefer to work for international firms than Chinese ones, according to research from Antal International.

The three most popular firms overall were General Electric, Procter & Gamble and Pfizer. Just two Chinese businesses, State Grid and King and Wood - PRC Lawyers, made the overall list.

Top reasons for choosing companies was firstly reputation, followed by management style and in third place salary.

Only 3% listed training opportunities as a reason for selecting an employer.
