An internet ad on an employment website to recruit male and female escorts has been deemed ‘misleading’ by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). The ad, which appeared on First4Companions.com, stated that “an additional charge may apply to become a full member with an enhanced listing on our database of escorts”. First4Companions responded that the ad had expired and would not be used again.
