A survey of middle and senior managers in Russia by recruitment firm Antal Russia reveals that a major part of a company’s benefits package is medical insurance, with 48% declaring this was highly important.

Other important benefits are accident insurance (19%) and a car allowance (17%). However, free or discounted company products were lowest on the list, with only 2% saying this was an important benefit.

Regarding training and educational packages on offer, 36% of those surveyed said these were important, with 8% saying they would like to study a foreign language at the expense of the company.

Of the 200 managers surveyed by Antal Russia, 66% are working for international companies.

According to Antal Russia, Russian companies have never been renown for compensation packages, preferring to offer higher salaries and bonuses, but for international companies, the social benefits package remains an integral part of the compensation for employees and positively reflects the company.
