A meeting of the Association of Social Work Employment Businesses (ASWEB) and Matrix Supply Chain Management to discuss standards in social care recruitment was positive, says ASWEB.

A meeting of the Association of Social Work Employment Businesses (ASWEB) and Matrix Supply Chain Management to discuss standards in social care recruitment was positive, says ASWEB.

Andrew Thorne, ASWEB’s chairman, told Recruiter: “They (Matrix) like the idea of our audit of ASWEB members, but they want to see more work done on it.”

ASWEB members who attended the meeting were Ben Arnold, Amicus; Laura Sutherland, Capita; Stella Gordon, Reed Social Care; and Andrew Thorne, Backstop.

Matrix was represented by chief executive Julian Young, and legal and shared services director Rachel Slater.
