Technical recruiter Matchtech has released its preliminary annual results.

Revenue was £258.8m, up from £202.8m in 2007. Net fee income grew by 23% to £33.2m, while operating profit increased by 22% to £13.8m, up from £11.3m in 2007.

Commenting on the results, Adrian Gunn, managing director at Matchtech, told Recruiter: “We are very pleased with the results, if you compare our results with other recruitment UK stocks.

“The results are due to our diverse client base and an experienced management team. We are not overly reliant on one client or one sector and we have a single site location that has allowed us to control costs.”
