Shares in healthcare recruiter Pinnacle Staffing Group began trading on the Alternative Investment Market today.

In the year ended 31 December 2005, the business generated turnover of £103.3m and operating profit before goodwill amortisation of £2.5m.

The brands of the company include mental health specialist Grosvenor, Mayfair Specialist Nurses, and Pinnacle, a podiatry business.

The company has been spun out of Nestor Healthcare, which will now focus on primary care and social care.
