Manual Labour Solutions secures funding

Recruitment firm Manual Labour Solutions announced that it has successfully secured funding for the business from Lloyds TSB.

Recruitment firm Manual Labour Solutions announced that it has successfully secured funding for the business from Lloyds TSB.

The firm, initially set up to service the local Channel Islands market and the mail order industry, now supplies drivers, skilled and unskilled manual labour to retail, mail order, hospitality and distribution companies, as well as labourers, carpenters, shopfitters and other building trades.

Neil Kilbey, managing director of Jersey-based Manual Labour Solutions, says: “I have worked in a number of different roles during my career, when last year I saw a gap in the Jersey recruitment market. I knew that a mail order consultancy would work well in the run-up to Christmas. Once I had the idea and the contacts, all I needed was to secure the funding in order to get started.”
