Multi-sector recruiter Manpower has released its third-quarter results.
For the three months ended 30 September, revenues were up 7% to $5.7bn (£3.39bn) on the same period last year.

Foreign currencies were relatively stronger compared to the third quarter of 2007 and on a constant currency basis, revenues grew by 1% over the previous year.
Jeffrey A. Joerres, chairman and chief executive officer, at Manpower, said: “The slowdown that we have been experiencing in the US has now moved to Europe. While we are still seeing year-over-year growth in some of our European operations, we expect the full impact of the economic slowdown has yet to be felt by the labour market. Our emerging markets continue to grow at a rapid pace.”
